Last Week, Pastor Jacquelyn shared how Jonah ran from the mission God gave him to go to Nineveh & tell them to repent of their sin. Jonah jumped on a boat in the opposite direction to get away from the Lord. We left off with Jonah tossed overboard in the sea. This week, we see God save Jonah’s life by sending a great fish to swallow him. Jonah prays & the fish spits him out. God gives Jonah a second chance to obey his command.
