Generations Church is a non-denominational church committed to reaching, teaching, encouraging and serving all generations for the cause of Jesus Christ! Our worship is contemporary, our messages are relevant, and our people are very friendly! Our church has a passion for helping people discover who they are in Christ, what their God-given purpose in life is, and how to live a life that honors and pleases God! Our beliefs
God
We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things; that He exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit; and that He is totally loving and completely holy.Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ was born of a virgin; that He was crucified and died in order that we may be forgiven of all of our sins and be able to be in right relationship with God; that He was buried and rose again on the third day to prove victory over death and to empower us in life.
The Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit is present in the world to make mankind aware of their need for a savior (Jesus Christ); that He indwells every Christian from the moment of conversion and provides them with power for living, understanding spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. As Christians, we seek to live under His control daily.
The Bible
We believe that the Bible is God’s Word. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives. It alone is the final authority for determining all doctrinal truths.
Mankind
We believe that mankind was created in the image of God, but through voluntary disobedience he sinned and fell; that sin separates each of us from God and His purpose for our lives; and that Jesus Christ is the only One who can reconcile us to God.
Salvation
We believe in the salvation of sinners through grace and faith; that salvation is a gift from God, not a result of our good works or any human effort; and that we can receive forgiveness when we repent of our sins, believe in Jesus Christ, and confess that He is our Lord and Savior.
Water Baptism
We believe that Jesus commands each believer to be baptized in water; that water baptism is not the means of salvation, but an act of worship and obedience following salvation; and that full-immersion is the most accurate biblical demonstration.
Holy Spirit Baptism
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit; that it is a separate experience from salvation and water baptism that initiates a decisively new awareness of the all-powerful presence of God working in one’s life and usually involves one or more spiritual gifts.
Eternity
We believe that our eternal destination of either Heaven or Hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised.
Marriage and Sexuality
We believe that God made humans either “male” or “female” according to their biological design and assigned proper pronouns to each: “he, him” and “she, her”. Any other pronouns used for each sex/gender is contrary to God’s design and purpose according to the Bible (our source for truth and reality). We also believe that marriage is ordained by God to be between one man and one woman. God designed sexual intimacy for a marriage relationship and does not approve of it in any other context.Contact Us
