Day 8, Walter and Lara discuss the Name of Jesus, Advocate, as we pray through the Names of Jesus for our 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting.

1 John 2:1, "My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous."

Jesus was and is our Advocate to the Father. He's on our side and He's fighting with us, and on our behalf.

What a fitting day to be talking about the role of an advocate, the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., a day in which we celebrate and remember his role as an advocate for those who were unable to stand up and speak for themselves. We are grateful for his advocacy.

And we know that during this fast, we have the ultimate Advocate, Jesus, standing with us and fighting on our behalf, cheering us on! Keep up the good work GChurch!
