What’s The Vision?

The vision is to see the Austin metroplex covered in unceasing prayer (1 Thes. 5:17) by 31+ area churches until Jesus Christ returns! The vision is a unified church with one heart, one mind and one prayer to see God transform our city! The vision is a growing number of pastors leading their churches in one day (24 hours) a month of unceasing prayer! What’s The Commitment?

Each participating church commits to praying one day (24 hours) each month. Generations Church has committed to the fourth Tuesday of every month. Each participating church will enlist “prayer partners” within their church to share the 24-hour commitment. Each “prayer partner” will commit to praying for a selected 1-hour time slot during that 24-hour period. Each “prayer partner” will be given a Prayer Guide that will outline the various items/topics to pray for. Feel free to modify this guideline in any way you feel is necessary. And the place you pray is wherever you choose (at home, taking a walk, at church, etc.).  You can also visit the Virtual Prayer Room for more helpful ideas and prayer topics.

What’s The Next Step?

Each “prayer partner” selects a 1-hour time slot they can commit to. Please consider work schedules, family schedules, etc. when making that selection. The goal is to have all 24 time slots covered multiple times.
